New York New York (Shame on You)?

Question: Why does every single yankee fan always say, "Win 26 championships then you can talk," or "26 championships, yeah go yankees," or something gay like that. I understand that they have won that many championships, but you better win at least 26 if you've been around since 1901, and they weren't even the yankees yet, they were the orioles (which most 'yankee fans' don't even know). They were good back in the day, but give it up, most supposed 'fans' have no clue what they're talking about and in recent years the yankees simply buy their players and or talent, coaching, etc. I'd rather work through blood, sweat, and tears to earn one trophy, then buy 26. All those who agree reply yes. Oh and all you yankee fans, don't reply, just go away. I'm sorry if i offended anyone, and i'm not trying to make you think what i think, but i'm allowed to say what i want. I know that they were also called the highlanders, i don't know, i'm just tired of yankee fans. (Just the ones who talk alot)

Answer: The Yankees are the only team ponying up the money to keep their home grown players. Did you know that nobody on the '04 Red Sux was homegrown. Varitek and Lowe were acquired from Seattle. The Yankee CORE is from their minor leagues, now and when they were winning. I NEVER say anything about 26 rings. But they have 4 rings in the last 11 years. Nobody else has even been to the World Series that many times in the last 11 years. And everyone buys a World Series, no players are playing for free.
